RESENCE INFORMATION
13 Presence Information
This chapter describes different availability settings available, and how
you select them.
Presence information is used to inform callers when you are out of the
office, and when you expect to return.
Available absence reasons are, for example, Lunch, Busy, Vacation,
Meeting and Trip. Callers are informed by the operator of your where-
abouts. For some of the absence reasons, you are prompted to specify
the return time.
Note: The absence reasons listed above are examples of default
reasons in the system. These can differ from the reasons
programmed in the system you use.
When you have selected an absence reason, the display will show the
reason along with any information of return date or time. The Follow-me
key is lit.
Note: When you have selected an absence reason, your phone can still
be used for outgoing calls. As a reminder, you will hear a special
dial tone when you lift the handset.
13.1 Selecting an Absence Reason
To change the presence status, do the following:
1. Press the soft key Availability.
2. Select My Presence, and press Select.
